Pricingas of March 1, 2009 Minimum order: 1.5 square feet Murals: $250 per square foot: murals between 1.5 and 5 square feet $240 per square foot: murals between 5 and 8 square feet $230 per square foot: between 8 and 12 square feet $220 per square foot: murals between 12 and 20 square feet $210 per square foot: murals between 20 and 34 square feet. $200 per square foot: murals over 34 square feet. $80 per individual 6" tile (a tile not part of mural), 2 sq ft minimum order. Border tiles: $300 per square foot: between 2 and 5 square feet $285 per square foot: over 5 square feet On site consultation: Local, $100; Other, Negotiable Prices are for standard 6" x 6" or 4.25" x 4.25" tiles and apply only to those tiles which I paint and fire. Individual tiles and border tiles are commissioned only in conjunction with a larger mural. House portrait tiles are $100 each for a 6" tile and $160 each for an 8" tile. Tiles: Pricing is inclusive of the cost of the tiles when I use my standard tiles (6" Daltile). Should you want to use a different tile, I charge you only my cost in buying what tile I need. That price will vary according to what tiles you choose. I can recommend types of tiles that have fired well for me, according to your taste and budget. Tile costs can vary greatly (from $4 to $75 per square foot). Should you choose a tile that I have not yet worked with, I will need to get a sample tile to test fire in my kiln. Should that tile fire well, then we may proceed with the job. Shipping: Shipping and handling is a separate charge averaging $20 per square foot for UPS standard ground service for delivery anywhere in the USA. Please inquire about costs for international shipping. Do note that shipping prices can change at any time. Deposits: I require one half of the price I quote you in advance. This is a non-refundable deposit which guarantees your spot on my calendar and will be applied to your final bill. Payment of this deposit by check or money order must be received to confirm your order. If you would like to have a sketch to approve before the order is confirmed with your deposit, I require $75 in advance, which will go toward your final bill should you confirm your order. When ordering very large murals, I require the entire quote in advance.
Depending on how much work I currently have scheduled, your piece can take anywhere from three to six months to be completed and mailed off.
